Today's Official Fuel Prices
Pakistan's fuel prices are officially notified by OGRA (Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority). Since July 2026, Pakistan follows a daily pricing mechanism, so rates can change every day. The table below always shows the latest notified rates — our system refreshes them automatically every morning.
How the 9771 Subsidy Changes Your Price
Registered beneficiaries of the 9771 Fuel Relief Scheme don't pay the market rate. Instead, you receive digital fuel tokens via SMS that carry a flat Rs. 100 per litre discount:
- Motorcycles, rickshaws & Qingqis: weekly Rs. 500 tokens (5 litres each), up to 20 litres/month → save up to Rs. 2,000/month.
- Cars up to 800cc: Rs. 1,000 token every 10 days (10 litres), up to 30 litres/month → save up to Rs. 3,000/month.
At the pump you present the token code (received by sending TOK to 9771); the discount applies to the token's litres and the rest is billed at the regular rate above.
Why Prices Change Daily
Pakistan moved from a fortnightly to a daily fuel pricing mechanism in July 2026. OGRA now notifies revised ex-depot prices every day based on international oil prices, the rupee exchange rate, and the petroleum levy. That's why checking the current rate — right here — before refuelling matters more than ever.
Petrol Price History (October 2026)
On 17 October 2026, OGRA notified petrol at Rs. 386.30 and high-speed diesel at Rs. 396.96 per litre. With the 9771 subsidy, eligible citizens paid an effective Rs. 286.30 per litre on their quota fuel.
Tip: fuel prices are uniform nationwide at the notified rate — if a pump charges more, file a complaint.
